TF2 Randomly Closes

Ever since the most recent update, I've never been able to get TF2 to stay open longer than 5-10 minutes at a time before it just... well... closes. No error message or anything.

I would appreciate any help I can get with this...

Here's what I've already tried:
Disabling "Aero Extensions" in the advanced video settings.
Re-enabling "Aero Extensions" in the advanced video settings.
Disabling "Multi-core rendering" in the advanced video settings.
Re-enabling "Multi-core rendering" in the advanced video settings.
Setting "mat_queue_mode" to "2" through the Developer Console.
Setting "mat_queue_mode" back to "-1" through the Developer Console.
Verifying the integrity of the game cache through Steam.
Defragmenting the game cache files through Steam.
Restarting Steam.
Restarting my computer.
Deleting my HUD (Garm3n HUD SdX OLP)
Re-installing the game.

Here's my system:
ASUS P8Z77-V LK motherboard
Intel Core i5-3570k processor
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 (2x4GB) memory
MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 PE 2GB/OC video card
750GB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM hard drive
ASUS Xonar DG sound card
Windows 8 Pro 64-bit operating system

Here's a dxdiag as well:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/73006062/dxdiag.txt

I do not know why my keyboard shows up 4 times, but I've never had any problems with it.

Team Fortress 2 is the only game I'm having any problems with. All my other games, like Metro 2033 and Star Trek Online for example, work just fine.

EDIT: This only happens on non-MvM maps - or at least it doesn't happen on mvm_bigrock.

He'd have to search back a page or two, besides I'm getting the same problem.

Do note the two major differences between my post and his:
I gave more information on the problem I'm experiencing.
I do not crash on joining a server - but after a few minutes of playing. Yes, this does make a huge difference.

Please be constructive next time instead of trying to be a smart-.

Well excuse me! The infamous hl2.exe has stopped working can happen in multiple times/places. This is a new bug that we do not know much about. There were a few noteable similarities so I just thought it could be of some help to you.

Also, if you read through the thread, it was a common error that happens in many places. Some have it when joining a server, others have it when loading the game. Some have it when on the Main Menu.

Sure, sure. I've seen you being a smart- in a few threads so far. Believe whatever you want, though.

Well, it appears this only happens on non-MvM maps. I managed to play through a full 8 waves of Operation Bone Crusher on mvm_bigrock as a Sniper without an issue.

Just a small update. Will also add it to the top post if I can.

You have the same motherboard as me, and I was having the same problem. Your gonna have to take off your computer chasis, then look on the motherboard for 'GPU Boost' then turn that off. It'll stop tf2 from randomly closing, hopefully.
