Should I pre-order Tomb Raider 2013?

I want this game so bad, but at the same time I don't wanna pre-order region locked version. Can anyone clarify if the current version in store is region free one? App ID says it's 203160 and there's no region notice on the page. It costs only $22.49. How do I check it with cdr though? Can't really understand how it works and the subs...

Also, will there be a price reduction on winter sale or it's not gonna happen? Should I wait or not?

They will never reduce the price of games that arnt out yet during sales, so dont expect it to go cheaper until a while after its released.

I pre-ordered Tomb Raider for 33,75€ at Greenman Gaming some minutes ago. And I am really, REALLY excited about the game.

Pre-order here. Just get it. Price won't go down till well after, like they said. I can't wait. I'm starting a playthrough of Legend and Underworld now, first time, and I'm not sure why I held off playing them so long. (Too many big name titles kept distractin' me. That's my excuse.)

I'll pre-order once all the bonuses are unlocked. Hate the stupid new tier system of pre-order bonuses some Steam games run.

I have a question about the preorders too. I preordered off of Greenman gaming, does anyone know if they count for the steam preorder bonuses?

Hard to say, really. It's not specifically stated that they count or not. Maybe you could email gmg's support/customer service and ask. You've got a little while to hear back and make a decision.

How come Gamestop already offers the Guardian of Light and the challenge tomb if you pre-order Tomb Raider today? ( http://www.gamestop.com/pc/games/tomb-raider/103028 ) If Reward 3 is not unlock, then you are not gaining anything over getting Tomb Raider at Gamestop. Is this unlocking rewards a gimmick?

That's...not...good.

Something smacks of bad taste if that's the case. Why would they do that? Just an oversight? We that preordered it at Steam have to wait and hope that enough people preorder to see if we got a bonus, while GameStop purchases get it automatically? Hmm...

Of course, the whole "pre-order bonus unlock line" at Steam could all just be a marketing gimmick to get people to preorder it...is that what you were referring to? Ahh, I see. That's probably it. Sneaky devils. I guess they suckered me, hunh?
