Cant update my steam

Hello. Sorry for my bad english, i ll try to explain my problem.
I try to update my steam, its downloading update, then extracting package, and then instead of opening the steam window it just closes. I mean nothing happens. I repeat the same thing and again-no result. I dunno what to do. Every time i run steam update it's updating but then after update it just closes.
Here are things i tried to fix it:
1)Reinstall steam
2)Delete steam and everything connected with it from register
3)run steam with/without administrator rights
4)Allow steam to make full installation of it then go to the safe mode and try to make steam update there.
5)Drop steam's installation before downloading updates and go to the safe mode and try to make steam update there
6)Install on another disk
7)Use steamcleaner
8)Click on steam.exe over9000 times in hope that it will finally work
9)disable firewall/brandmauer
10)Try to repair via steam's installator.
Nothing helped.
The thing is that i have had to install every update via safe mode for about 2 months cause in windows i had "error:unable to open". But now its not working either. In safe mode its written that i dont have internet connection so steam wont update. I really dont know what else to do. I have ruined all my weekend trying to solve this problem and still not even close to solving it. Please, help. And i apologize for my bad english again, i hope you understood everything i wrote :P

Well, all I can suggest is to backup all your important files/games and do a Clean Install of your OS...

Or...

You've done everything I planned on suggesting (and more!) so I'm out of ideas. Please contact steam support.
