SDL2.DLL is missing

So the Steam client updated today, and all of a sudden when I try to launch CS, I get two error messages. The first one says some file named "SDL2.dll is missing". After that error message, CS minimizes and I'm followed by the the second error message saying it could not load some library. I tried to "verify integrity of game cache" and nothing happened, and I also tried to reinstall CS but still no luck.

Any Ideas guys? Any help would be appreciated.

Opt out for non beta update on Counter Strike, reinstall it. It works for me. HF!

Valve, you just ruined the game... Half of gather-network players getting SDL2.DLL atm, good job!

Tried it out, but still got the exact same prob.

Beta is broken obviously.

Make sure game is updated after you opted out of beta. Try manual cache check.

-Opt out of beta and wait a minute and your game should auto update. If not then verify cache.

the problem exists because you guys are opted into the CS beta but not HL. Fix is to be in both betas or neither.
