Fatal Error: Failed to load image: images/game/acedribbon

So Peggle Nights has decided to stop working for whatever reason. I haven't made any changes to my system, installed any drivers, etc, since the last time I played it, which was this afternoon. I've tried deleting local content and redownloading the game, but I still get the same error on startup.

Any ideas? I need my Peggle fix!

Verify integrity.

Seems like "Acedribbon" got lost.

That was the first thing I did when it happened. As mentioned, I've also deleted local content and redownloaded/installed the content.

I am experiencing the same error. The game crashes to desktop as soon as the "Popcap" logo appears. The music is still running in the background, but seems to be unable to recover from the crash. It is a new install (just purchased Peggle Nights, have not yet been able to play it) and I have done a validation and a delete/reinstall, both with no luck. Also tried updating video drivers, again no luck. Peggle Deluxe and Peggle Extreme run just fine, no problem. Please, for the love of all things Peggle, help!

Hello all. Did anyone ever find a solution to this problem. I also have it and I have been going back and forth with Steam and PopCap for a couple of months trying to resolve it. I've done countless reinstalls of everything and nothing will get that file to show up.
