Remote Administration

Hello all,

I am in the process of developing a program that receives information from the console via an UDP link and can then interpret it and send a more human friendly version of the information to any IRC network.

What I would like to know is if it's possible to send commands to the console (e.g. send the message "say hello all" to the console and in game it shows Console: hello all) over this link from my program and if so how.

I don't know if you'll have much luck finding that kind of info here, this mostly focuses on trying to get the darned thing working!

You might want to go lurk and/or register over at SourceMod. Lots of Perl, PHP and C++ nuts over there doing hard-core scripting for stuff like this.
