Gothic 3 questions

I've managed to jarate off the guards outside a city by stealing too much stuff and murdering a couple of them quietly outside of town. The gatekeepers stop me every time I approach. I have the make excuses skill but it doesn't work on them and they won't accept a bribe. They then turn hostile along with everyone inside the city.
If I leave and come back later will they forget my crimes or do I have to raise my thief skill to make them accept a bribe?

Are there any more hunting skill swords in the game? I've been using a rapier for what seems like forever.

Do swords that require hunting scale with strength or hunting skill?

When can I find a new bow? I'm currently using the battle bow.

Do merchants restock arrows? I seem to keep running out.

Hello

I've played this great game.

Well... All depends on your reputation from the Orcs and the Human factions.
If NPCs have orange text, they are sceptic
If NPCs have red text, they are hostile and they want you dead.
If NPCs have green text, they are friendly to you.
If NPCs have white text, they are neutral.

Arriving to a city that have red names, you cannot do nothing... Only kill them.

BTW even you are in a city with orange names, there are some place (like king palaces) that you cannot enter until you have done some city quests.

I managed to get in town after leaving and coming back later with slightly higher thieving skill. I was able to pay a bribe and the guards left me alone.
I really hate the way thieving works in this game...

Still looking for a decent bow.

once i chased 1 of the first orcs all the way back to there little town west and killed him ... orc's were hostile for quite a while lulz... eventually stopped dont know why, just did other stuff for a bit lulz ;P

try going to another town of the same faction and seeing if they hate you there ... if not work for them
