Oh ok, I guess I didn't see an announcement. Thanks. I thought it meant I had to download it within that time.

Free weekend, you get it for two days (or however long indicated) full and unrestricted, but when the weekend is over you have to but it to keep playing. Kinda like a demo but unrestricted for X amount of time.

I wish we had the ability to delete/remove these offers from our profile/library which we are not interested in. Also the games that I have in my library that shouldn't be there ie. 'Mac' games

Just a little offshoot here but it's my library and I think I should have full control of it.

I made a category in my library for games that I don't want on the list. I put the extra mac versions as well as any free weekend games in that category.

I can't believe this option isn't available to the user. Am I to understand that the Steam software is so advanced that there isn't an onboard programmer that can deal with this much aligned scenario?

Which titles apear? I only show GTA3: VC for Mac on my list and I know I own other titles that are PC/MAC.

Yes I have done that too Oneironaut

Yet I don't like to see these non entities in the 'view ---> Game Grid' selection which shows the game 'icons'

For me, it is:

1 - Grand Theft Auto 3 - says 'not available on your current platform'
2 - GTA 3 San Andreas Mac
3 - GTA 3 Vice City Mac

(I have all these 3 above games bought via Steam for my PC)

All these 3 show only grey boxes with the text within when I switch to the 'View ---> Games Grid'

Shouldn't be there IMO because it should recognise whether I have a Mac or not/ or at least give me the choice to remove them from my 'Games Grid' view.
