Stuck at 99%

The game has been stuck at 99% for hours. I have exited Steam, came back and hope that would kick it into finishing but no luck. I've tried rebooting my computer. No luck.

I click Play and it says it'll be ready to play in 1 second - and nothing...



This is happening with both Ankh 2 and 3. I got both downloaded to 99% then it gets stuck. *I did find a help page for 'game stalls while downloading' and did those steps. Didn't resolve the issue.

Update: I downloaded/installed a different game then retried Ankh 2 & 3 - and both finished finally.

Unfortunately, when I click Play - nothing happens. I've rebooted my computer as well.

have you tried a file integrety check?

If that doesnt help, you may try (as crappy as this sounds) deleting the gam,e and re-downloading.
It almost sounds as if the download is corrupt for some reason.


Just a thought.
