Update 2011-03-10:
  • included the swarmarmory colonists patch
    • colonists are now usable
    • colonists no longer cause crashes when infected
    • visible feedback which colonists are selected
    • female colonists
  • bots now deal friendly fire
  • hacky implementation to get asw_spawner spawn asw_drone_uber: set the spawned alien name to "asw_drone_uber" and the spawned type to "asw_drone"

please update the asw_dropextra code.

if player equips a secondary weapon and uses above command, player switches to primary weapon.

This causes some problems especially for medics healing an infected marine while dropping an Electric Charged Armor.

Update 2011-03-18
  • fix mini-freezes that occured when playing BI for a long time
  • enable colonists to shoot and equip (some) weapons
  • make colonists hittable by ranger projectiles
  • prevent colonists from running to cover when unarmed and waiting to be rescued
  • some minor performance tweaking

I don't like this mod, because it't not really "BeyondInsane", it's more like "BeyondAmmonition". So it's not "greatly increased difficulty" but "greatly increased use of ammonition". Sorry.

That okay, this mod is not for everyone.
I enjoyed it tho, back then, in 2010. We once thought it is impossible to beat it on Brutal but here we are, haha.
