How many articles did you get for this? I could always submit a late one if you need more. I would have written one before the due date, but stuff came up. Like depression. I have zero energy to do anything

We ultimately received 15 articles for Love and Hate 3, which I'm personally really happy with. Anyone who wants to submit others is totally welcome, I wrote two but I'm working on another pair of articles because there was a second game I wanted to discuss maps within.

Love and Hate 3 continues with Frontier by Medicinal Warlock!

They're all super good entries as well.

I would have done an article if we could do levels beyond source games.

Like that Paris level in Twisted Metal 2, which got remade in Head On.

Thing is, if I set the net too wide, we get less entries. We got just as many entries this year for maps as we did last year for games in general, even though our viewership has shrunk by about 66%.

Mercy players can now see the damage boosted in their career profile stats page in the latest update.

I supposed there's truth to that. Giving them a stipulation means its a bit easier to come up with a topic, and there's a solid audience to speak to.

Pretty much.

Even seeing things from my own point of view, I could have gone on about tons of TF2 maps, I could have talked about No Mercy in L4D/Payday, I could have talked about my fav map type in Worms games, or my favourite tileset in Warframe, or I could have even talked about the super nice secret underwater level in Croc: Legend of the Gobbos.

Narrowing it down to Source games covers half of what the Daily SPUF normally covers and gives people more direction to their articles.

You missed the part where Engineers endlessly try to put nests up in the enemy sewers, usually putting the Sentry somewhere on top of the big propane(?) tank if they've done this before.

Makes it surprisingly difficult/annoying to take out solo by conventional means, as the ceiling interferes with the arcs of most Demoman ordnance from the spawn drop/water side(the only direction that lets you peek right-side-first), and apart from the stairs, every way down there is likely to be a one-way trip if the Sentry doesn't go down, and you end up taking significant damage from the Engineer, and/or any help he's teleported in/came in by the lower bridge.

Last edited by Timerlane: Yesterday at 08:03 PM. Reason: Removed an 'i', because Demoman uses materiel, not local laws.

Really, the only places where it's bad for a sentry are on the two bridges towards each base. Once you get inside though, it's sentry heaven.

This might be a weird question, but does anyone know how to force games to run slower? Possibly at 10fpgs?

That or a way to beat the last stage of Sora on easy mode...

Your dedicated graphics card should have a maximum frate rate setting.

Beyond modifying your graphics card you could also limit the CPU priority and affinity.
(Note this might cause sound issues)
