I don't know the game. But seeing as this has more fans than Failhold 3 I'm for it!

And yet people still blindly believe Valve is the savior of indie games, when this is just another example in a VERY long line of quality indie games being rejected by this company.

More disturbing is when people will not support an indie game unless it is on Steam, when Steam is the one rejecting products for no stated reason.

Purchased this great game when I first heard about it. I love the humor and the movie+game refrences scattered througout the game.

I purchased the game and is really good. I don't know why valve rejects it, but it deserves to be on steam more than a lot games already on the platform.

This has got to stop, i really dont care whatever reason you think you have.

This is one amazing game. i wonder how many other amazing games that has been turned down, its freaking mind bending, if you were on steam back when it started, they were practically begging people to put their games on steam.

What happens a company or service gets to dig, they become big and ignorent it seems.

More games = better.

I mean if the dedicision was based on game quality, well then Modern Warefare games wouldn be on steam, because those games are crap.

What a really disguisting business pratice, to say it nicely.

Maybe its time to get youre act togther steam?.
I half-heartedly support the addition of Unepic, but your argument does nothing to add to its case.

The question is, "should Unepic be allowed onto Steam?"

And you just argued, "yes, any piece of crap game should be allowed onto Steam."

Surely, you don't think that's actually relevant, do you? I would be rather insulted if I were the developer or a fan of Unepic.

Frankly, Steam should have and exercise discretion when adding games to Steam. When people buy a game on Steam, they expect a certain level of quality, not to be bombarded by, say, rubbish games that amateurs forked off of some FOSS-licensed game, tweaked slightly to their own misguided liking, and slapped a price tag on -- and, yes, I am referring to the Android Market.

It is very sad that UnEpic has been rejected, as a game is CERTAINLY way better than many others available on Steam.
It is a great game and I did not expect steam rejecting it without a reason.

And who is to judge what is crap and whos not crap?, you?, Valve?.

because if you say that everything cant be allowed on something, who is the judge i ask again?.

So yes everything should be allowed, since only the good stuff will sell, ergo let the players actully decide what they wanna buy.

Sometimes americans scare me, not that i blame you, because in youre country, well lets face it America is run by corrupt politicians and Companies.

Whats really funny is they reject small games which seems like racism and you could probably sue them. But they dont give any good reason, so they let bad games on steam already, so its not because youre game is bad its not on steam.

You cant deny stuff in 2012 without atleast coming with a very detailed reason why, its racism, that simple.

Companies arent allowed to say we dont want you in our store, unless there is given a reason and there is a cause.

Its freaking scary that some dude, probably are denying games, because bah thats probably not gonna earn us enough money WTF!!???

Aside from that I would definitely buy this game were it to appear on Steam.

Really hope Valve reconsiders and accepts this awesome game onto their platform .
Some of us actully believe in fighting for stuff, not sucking up. But you write youre nice words to Valve and see if they give squat.

Better to sound like spoiled brat and live in country where Companies arent the ones ruling.

Some people are scary they act like mindless sheep.

Seriously? The game is really good except for the lame jokes, I see no reason for steam to not sell this game

It's a charming little game, and unlike anything on the service, so it's a shame the game has been rejected.

It would fit on the service quite nicely, and it would probably find a bigger, appreciative crowd.

The main issue is that it was rejected by steam WITHOUT GIVING A REASON.
The developer has contacted steam to ask for the reason but they are not giving one.

This to me is pure arrogance on steams part.

At least if you give a reason he can do what it takes to make the changes.

Unepic is a fantastically fun and charming game that puts a smile on my face. I have been following it since its early days. I see no reason why it shouldn't be on steam.

To learn that it's VALVE who oppose titles on their platform leaves a rather bad taste in my mouth. It's interesting that in a time when other big companies are pushing their own propriety digital distribution platforms - and doing so in a very promising way - that Valve wouldn't be doing everything in their power to ensure that Steam maintains the edge over it's competitors by offering more niche content like this.

I agree. This is a quality game that deserves a chance on steam.

And if you're going to reject a game, give at least a reason.
