Let's Write Our Own Jaydor 5k Post Story

It's getting kind of silly so let's brainstorm a story that Jaydor would post for his five thousandth post so he can post in earnest once again. I'll write it if necessary.

The Maidsassins have lost influence all over the world due to unknown circumstances. There's internal chaos due to a lack of order after the leader left. Nobody knows for sure what's happening, but they know something is going on.

For some reason everyone in the world loses interest in doing anything substantial. Every basic conversation is becoming rarer and rarer. What little conversation exist tends to revolve around inane game balance discussions.

And then either the heroes fix the situation or the universe ends. Either/or.

You know I was reading about unconventional apocalypse scenarios and my favourite by far was worldwide apathy.

Unfortunately this story would probably end in the world ending. Because people on SPUF aren't the most motivated.

Too maidcentric, this needs to feature but not be all about maids.

Seriously though what was the genre even supposed to be?

Is it still slice of life high school stuff with supernatural elements?

From my remeberings about a year ago when he talked about it a little, he said it was an urban fantasy story. So no more high school, people are actually grown up now. Aabicus was the top editor at a newspaper for instance, and I think had some abilities that were flavored with news. Other than that he's been tight-lipped about it.

Frankly, I don't think he'll be able to beat SPUF: A Real Account of Factual Events, the other urban fantasy written of SPUF characters. Though, admittedly, aRAoFE was a little more towards the dark urban fantasy than anything Jay would write.

You know, if anyone actually did finish a SPUF rpgmaker game, we probably could legit get it on Steam.

It would inevitably be a huge circlejerk game with no real point that couldn't sell at a price of $.99 without a sale, but I bet we could get it on Steam nonetheless, judging by what is there already.

And if not Steam, there's always gamersgate.

We're getting off track here.

If we're still making it the Jaydor 5k post, it has to be an urban fantasy, centered around SPUF characters (or characters based mainly on SPUFers).

From what I remember it was a "basically present" setting, so that's easy.

Because of various anime that I know he watches I'm going to assume that there would be some sort of reference to a real world conspiracy theory, as well as several allusions to well known and obscure myths.

Let's just copy the plot of Deus Ex but cut out half the content.

The villainous organization of the story will be FEMA.
