Tabula Rasa

I have a few questions about it.

1:Will it ever come back, even under another developer?

2:Why did it shut down?

3:How was it?

4:Would do want it to come back?

I would love if it came back as F2P, I mean D&D Online was P2P now it is F2P and making more money than ever!

1: Probably not. no reason for NCSoft to give any other company rights for the game (nor do I see any company that would like to buy the rights)

2: Wasn't successful enough to justify further support

3: Unique, but had a lot of problems.

4: Sure, only as F2P though, game wasn't good enough to justify monthly payments.

1. No

2. Not popular enough

3. The only game where just logging on and killing random mobs with friends actually felt fun, and instances were thoroughly enjoyable

4. Sure, but its unrealistic and I'm only a niche audience

1. Unlikely, but RG has recently been successful at suing NCsoft for $28M.

2. NCsoft no longer wanted to support the game and forced it to close. Reason for this choice remains speculative. Non have been confirmed by RG or NCsoft.

3. As a Tabula Rasa Veterain on the EU servers, the best damn mmo I've ever wanted to play in my life. The community, whilst small, was very friendly but the forum (Planet TR) has since been closed. TaRapedia is still up though. There are loads of videos still about if your interested in gameplay.

4. I still want it back though, in any form.

There have been efforts to host the game on private servers but not much has actually happened.

This game though it is long gone was one of the best I have ever played, and I want to make sure that any potential developers know that any clone of it would be very well received by many of the old TR vets.
