Random questions
I found this awesome little game quite recently. unfortunately it doesn't make a lot of stuff clear. i have a list of questions:
1. The story mode just sort of ends, unsatisfactorily. i've replayed it twice and got two different endings. are there anymore? 2. Is there any way to replay it? other than starting a new file. i dopnm't see the point in doing that since it doesnt have any of the unlocked stuff. 3. weapons are lose-able. wtf. is there any way to save them or make them permanantly available in the armory? 4. Are any weapons irreplaceable? i managed to lose the massive glowy sword i got after killing the emperor 5. Gems. i don't get what most of them do. The one that temporarily turns you ghostly is good and useful. but i'm not sute sure what the lightning, ice or red ones do. 6. Where do we get gems? the only place i've found is farming the boss at the end of grim mode. Surely that's not the only way? it's pretty stupid. 7. Explosives. owwww. how do i survive them? I've made over 30 attempts at the lv17 arena battle, and i've never won it yet because it seems i have to fight 7-9 opponents in a row. and at least a few of them in there are bound to come with those strange floaty cluster bombs, or a musket, or even just an exploding craft that punishes me for killing it -_- most explosions seem to take 50-75% of my health, although sometimes it doesnt hurt at all. and they seem to ignore armor plates. what to do? |

oh also, can anyone give me some general outline of the story? i've played it through twice and i still don't have a bleedin clue what's going on >.< Due in large part to the fact that every character seems to have a million different names or titles that they're referred to alternately (including yourself) and that faces seem to be recycled, or just very generic.
i understood the start roughly, about the three great clans. but then it all starts getting hazy when "somebody" turns up to murder your clan for "some reason", and everything from there on out is just little islands of sanity. slave pits. gladiatorial stuff. vague political intrigue. . I'm sure i hammered my way through a fair few political figures, but i cant' remember who they were, or why. the end part is just beyond all understanding for me. after assassinating the emperor, iot seems they decided to nuke the fridge. NExt thing i know, the middleeastern atmosphere is gone and im smashing up annoying robots in some grimy industrial place. some sort of justification about an abyss, and dead things *(they sure dont look like zombies). Then the ending with the big machine, it mumbled tons of stuff about biology and interdimensionalness. i wondered if i was playing a different game all of a sudden o.o Last edited by WarKirby: 04-22-2012 at 09:06 PM. |

1. Not that i know of, but yes, it does end kinda bad.
2.Well, you can, but you would have to go to your profile .SERIA and change it to GAIAR_training.seria , and you can also unlock all the weapons by going to the Default_Profile.seria and changing the weapon lock to -1 or -2 3.Other than buying them again, or picking them up in battle, not that i know of 4.If there are, i dont know about them. Most of the important people in the game (emperor and others) have Shining Stones in their blades, which give them special powers 5.Gems, or 'Shining Stones' add power-ups to your weapons, If you fuse a Bloody Ruby in lets say a sword, Whenever you get 'Overkill (disarm), or get a good hit on an enemy, it will heal your ship. The Warrior Emerald will make you temporarily invincible to enemies, beasts or npcs. There's the Amethyst, which will destroy any iron armor your enemy has. The Sapphire will freeze your enemies. The Topaz will catch your enemies on fire and make them burn. There are 3 sizes (that im sure of): Small (Most common), Medium (common), Large (Rare). 6. Other than the 1 level in solo, thats it. 7. The way i protect myself is by having 6 armors, usually Steel, binded to my space key. When i go to destroy the craft, i hit space and it protects me. Other than that im not sure, other than flying quickly away. |

I'm not sure if this helps, but I found if you drop your weapon in the armory, exit, and come back to claim it on the wall again it will have repaired. I was able to use the same weapon up to arena level 57 with this. It survived lv 57 which had me face like 40 some enemies.
