Seriously, this forum is the most mature I've ever seen. I think it would be an interesting discussion tbh.
Could someone enlighten me as to what this guy is smoking? Please, it sounds AMAZING.

Actually, to be honest, as someone who is used to the battle.net forums and AIWOR and Yahoo Answers, I am somewhat surprised at how mature the people here tend to be.

That can always change with less moderation.

Then you've never seen how badly and rapidly a borderline politics thread devolves into a political flame fest which is surprising considering your join date.

I want to be able to discuss the current list of "not allowed discussions"

Yeah I know stupid people ruin it but at least it's contained in one thread right?

I dont want to be a moderator. Its slave labor thinly veiled as "being involved in the community."

You're working for free.

Suckers.

What would be nice but take some major additions to the forum software to do it would be the ability to ban members from a thread. That way if we start say a thread on some political subject and someone tries to turn it into a flame fest, that member could be banned or barred from posting in the thread. The the rest of the thred's participants could carry the discussion.

Then they comeback on another account and continue the burnination. Sorry I don't think that's such a good Idea. this could be abused.

Oh yeah, I can see that working out real well. After the member is banned from the thread, then the real backstabbing continues and makes the Internet even dumber. I've give that about 4 hours before the entire forum imploded.
