Ya its funny how they say realistic sniper experience but yet you cant even go prone lmao .. i got this SGW as a gift and played it 10 minutes and never touched again. Lets see if they had enough smarts to implement it into the new one.

Just playing Sniper now... can there be an option in MP to not allow crossing? Enforce it by auto-killing players on the other team if they enter the other sides area

That was something I brought up a long time ago. An invisible or even visible line, down the middle of the map, the server adminstrator could turn off or on as he sees fit. That way, the server admin, if he wants no crossing in his game, can turn on the "kick" line or, if wants crossing, he just leaves it off.

Robert seem to think it was a reasonable idea, so let's hope it makes it into the game.
That was way back, before their First release date was announced.

Any news lately on GW2? I've preordered but the lack of publicity makes me worry it's delayed or just isn't that big a deal.

Yes, and now, it's beyond That. "Tuesday March,12th 2013" That's Q2!
On 10/7/2012, I Pre-Ordered for $26.99, with free shipping. (5-8 working days)
I felt I got a good deal, because you Know it will be $50, when it hits the shelf.
That was a few days after the Pre-Order started, with a release date of Jan. 15, 2013.
So, I was exited. I figured, "Hey, they're taking Pre-Orders. That means it's Actually
going to be Released."
So, today, 1/17/13, I go online to check on my order. New release date 3/12/13. WTF???
Another two F"ing months??!?!!!!?? That (if it does come out then) will make a full F'ing year of delays!!!!!! WTF???
These people F'ed up Ghost1 right from the start and never really fixed it properly.
They just moved on, to create Ghost2 and, Obviously, are having trouble getting that right.
No matter how wonderful this game is (I'm giving up hope) or when it is released (not holding my breath),
I will Never Ever, NEVER, NEVER EVER, NEVER, NEVER, buy another game from these F'ing City Jackholes.
I don't care what they offer, how good it looks or how cheap it is, they can shove it up their F'ing behinds and sit on it.
I strongly suspect they would even screw up that.
You hear that, City? After/If, I, finally get this in my hands, I will have, Absolutely, Nothing to do with you and your games. FU!!

Ok so i have to ask.. did they finally make it so you can go prone in this game in Mp ? cuz if not i wont be buying it.. Dumbest thing i ever seen was a sniper game that you could not go prone in. Which is why i played the 1st one a few hrs and uninstalled.

The MP in S:GW is great despite the lack of prone. You are missing out. As for prone in S:GW2 I'm not sure, obviously a lot of people are asking about it but not many details about the MP have been released at this stage. They know it's a request from fans.

It's not possible. We experiment with many gameplay options and nothing is written in stone. I could say yes, I could say no - doesn't matter, it can change any time. At this current time the prone position is available in the game. Hope that satisfies you a bit more .

The above was 2 pages back looks like a YES at this stage..

MY question now:

Steam how many Pre-Orders do you have will this affect DL at release?
Will the DL become Available before release - KEY/locked?
Nothing worse than Slow DL I hope there is a plan to easy the load on the Servers...
