Why does Valve advertise CS: Source in CS: GO?

In the de_dust levels in CS: Source, Valve had written some funny texts on the walls.

However, in CS: GO, Valve has decided to reuse the same texts, which makes it really awkward if you're playing Global Offensive and can read the text:

lol there is actually another graffiti in the dust levels where it says "Freeman was here".

Your probably right. I'm just surprised that VALVe let Hidden Path use so much of CS:Source in a CS game using Source. They could have just ended up with another CS:Source!

Why wouldn't Valve advertise would be a better question. I doubt any of it is accidental.

If the implication is that CS:GO is another CS:S

Then i ask, have you played CS:GO? Because its nothing like CS:Source ,there is very little similarity in terms of gameplay.

Yeah, it's ten times worse than Source and that says a lot when Source itself isn't that good of a game compared to the real deal.

I'm not a massive fan either. I just struggled to see the similarity between GO and Source.

Yes, I mentioned that one earlier in this thread.
There is also another graffiti which says فرگتستیک which says "Fragtastic".

It took me a while to realize this wasn't an actual Persian word but rather an English word written with Persian letters. :P
