Nostalgia FTW!
I can remember playing many bleary-eyed nights deathmatching my friends into the wee hours, and playing Heretic again brings all of that back to me. For all of the amazing things newer games can do, there's nothing quite like the feeling you get the first time you smack your buddy with a morph ovum and then poke them to death with a stick just for good measure! For what it's worth, Doom and Doom II are the Crown Princes of Deathmatch, and Heretic is the King.
I only wish I knew what I did with those PWADS I was working on. It would sure be a trip to dig them up and finally finish them! |

One of my first and all time favorite games. I have never stopped playing it from the day it released originally in the mid 90's.
