I think the robed figure is death, the woman is Esther, and the dude is Paul.

Oh, so Dan and Rob added MORE ghosts, didn't notice them. They were easier to spot in the mod version, for obvious reasons
There are also dead seagul skeletons on the way to the abandoned fallen suitcase to the right of the entrance to the caves. They may be hard to miss, since they are almost a part of the sand on the beach now (and are just flat textures)
Also, seagull eggs near the "armada" are rather important, if you listen to the cues. As are some medical objects, contents of the buildings and even one very special coffee mug.

Edit: Oh, right, there are also some magazines or something about yogurt. Also, if you've unlocked the cues, you understand why

Interesting find! As for the chemical diagrams, I'm guessing they represent ethanol or perhaps alcohol, and the circuit diagrams represent the air-lock brakes.

they do, it's just that that mug is directly mentioned in one of the voice cues. There's a lot of stuff mentioned or hinted in VO, that can be actually found in the game, which adds to it's half-real feel. Which is even more amazing now, when the island is much more realistic, than it was in the mod version

Tell me I'm not going insane, can anyone else see the ghost atop of the hill with the candle?

http://i.cubeupload.com/P4IAyy.jpg

The figure disappeared as soon as I got too close.

Oh and does anyone else know why the screenshots are all labelled with the different names of each individual character?

Could the ultrasounds be connected with the images flashing whilst you're underwater in some way, or are they inherently different?

They're on the table in the house at the top of the hill. I remember seeing 2 or 3 of them on that table. There may, of course, be others elsewhere.

I also saw an urn (decorated with flowers?) between the piles on the beach in the last chapter. When I got close, the spilled ashes blew away in the wind!

For some reason, taking screenshots didn't occur to me at the time!

I totally missed any and all "ghosts" while playing, though it may have been because I was playing later and was slightly tired. Going to have to go through again to check.

Though I'm glad someone mentioned the electrical schematics were for brakes, I felt like I was really missing out on the meanings of some hints while playing because I wasn't a molecular biologist/electrical engineer/bible student.
