You would still be able to juggle. You just wouldn't be able to block the path. The only side effect would be that this stupid crossing-through-barriers problems would evaporate.

Cant understand juggling is about blocking there path and then opening in the path again? I say they sould just fix this without stoping you from blocking aliens path.

What? I thought juggling is about closing one path while opening another...

Opening one path while closing another you probably mean? There are several ways of juggling;
-One is to close off their path while opening it in another place, forcing them in that direction. -Another is to keep selling and building 1-2(sometimes even 3) towers before the aliens pass a certain point so that they will still have to move back to the opening, meaning you will not have to block their path. -The third option is to force the aliens in the closest direction towards the cores by blocking their path entirely, you just have to have the road opened again before they get to a point where it becomes critical, this is not used very often though. There are a few other small options as well. On some maps you can keep the aliens running in circles, but once you get several groups it gets very hard unless you can sync them to one or two big groups. Folding them helps with this. |

This has been the same position I've put forward since the bug was first uncovered. It doesn't prevent juggling. "Block their path" means placing a tower which leaves no open path to the cores, not placing a tower in front of them to push them in another direction. It's a common mechanic in TD games, like DTD, where I first learned to juggle.

It means you should not be able to build anything on a square that would block their path for good. (Or at least I think it does

Exactly. That's what my suggestion is designed to prevent. So long as you cannot block their path (as opposed to merely shaping it), there is no reason for them to ever be allowed to cross the barrier.

Preventing blocking towers from being placed is simply a replacement mechanism, very common in TD games. It's a simpler mechanism, and like objects with fewer moving parts is hardier and less defect prone. |
