Black or Missing textures - Page 5

Hi, I don't have Catalyst, I have ATI Radeon Mobility 9700 and it won't let me install Catalyst, so how should I go about fixing this problem? What is weird is my game was working fine for a while but now it's all ♥♥♥♥ed up. Any help? Thanks.

This is old, but so true, it's like it takes more Processing power to power the updates..

well guys, i was playing Crash Course, and then the poster was all black and pink... and the map too. i dunno what happened cuz i was playing it yesterday before my game crashed for using skins D: can you guys help me?

I just have one missing texture, in No Mercy, second level, if I brake the ticket's window the "broken window" texture is black and pink. I had this also on the Beta version before release of thuis game, how can I get it?

I don't have Riva Tuner, and after reading this thread I think it's a bad idea to try it ><"

Almost everything on L4D for me is white. Everything is messed up and I can see my gun. The textures are messed up, and I cant see anything. It might be that I dont have some requirements, but I just want to make sure. If so, is there anything I can do about it?

Shouldn't the original user who brought this to "their attention" actually get credit for some of it? just wondering a bit..

the solution looks diferent then my problem

the picture does not look like mine. but i have missing textures including guns and npcs. and my screen is not black but puple eg. the trees and ammo is white/purple and my team are messed up so if youm look at one its just textures coming out at you. and it laggs really badly
