l4dmods pwnd me

I really enjoy playing custom maps with friends, although it's quite hard to gather.
So I created lobby, waited around 20 minutes till everyone's in. This time I decided not to create local server and search for dedicated instead. The search found l4dmods server.
We started the game and were getting ready to leave the saferoom and then... I was kicked. Maximum ping limit was 99. I had 130 and I'm used to it becouse of my location.

WTF guys, do we really need ping limit for coop?

Seems harsh but then if the limits were 135 folks with 140 would moan.

It's a real ball-ache when all that work goes to waste.

My guess it's to avoid that the "hold button" in map 4 won't cause trouble and you basicly can't progress because of the lag issue. Only people with good ping can succesfully hold this button for 25 seconds

A reasonable ping limit would be 200 IMO. I average 150.

This is not l4dmods fault but the server owner who was hosting that map

cl_cmdrate +100, makes your ping 5 or 1, im not sure you still be kicked but its easy to use.
