Ah, success!

I just played with some russians I don't know. We tried to get gold on the construction site on survival. And we managed to get 11 minutes eventually, all without understanding each other. We just yelled random stuff into the mic when we got constricted and such. 11 mins on CS with random people! Feels great!

Have you got any great successes in public games?

One time I decided to pub, and we ended up stomping some talking pubstompers.

Felt great.

Haha that's all i do. Pub it up and make some noobies work as a team after yelling at them for about 5 minutes until they understand when they do something wrong until finally they get the hang of teamwork. The other team (2 out of 3 times a group of pubstompers) usually rages by the 3rd or 4th map.

lol, that's great. Wish experienced players were more like this instead of noob screaming idiots.

managed to get 18 mins on DT: The Drains with pubbers.

After the 7 min mark, considering the way we were doing and how everyone was helping out each other despite a lack of any form of communication, i knew we'd go far

Did they say "Remember, no Russian" before the round started?

Do you think Russians are not humans or what? Do you think all Russians are not adequate or they are just noobs? Or do you think all of us always try to hack and crack everything they can?
I have 20+ minutes on more than half of survival maps. I'm a competitive versus player. And I am Russian.
Why so much hate at Russians? Yes our country has problems and we have many idiots here but it doesn't mean all Russians are idiots.

Sorry, I'm just tired of racism.

Back on the topic, whenever I join a public survival game my team throws 2-3 molotovs at first Tank and never ever survives 4 minutes.
P.S. It connects me to servers from foreign countries as well. Not only on Russian servers. But result is same everywhere, 1-3 minutes.

I think he wasn't flaming Russians, but acknowledging the fact that L4D requires communication to win, and the language barrier makes it harder to co-op.

Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh.

I do believe that the point being made was despite the lack of communication, he had a great time with some russians, and was able to play reasonably well.

People could learn a thing or two from this experience.

Normally I give up when I take 50 damage from a smoker that pulled me from right beside everyone. xD

I just communicate for the tactics in basic english, german or sometimes with my crappy french, then do not have to talk much rest of the session.
Works 90% of the time.
