I would probably not pay the full price, there is way much more bang for your buck out there in other similar games imo. Try the demo because there is not much more to the whole game... basically it's all solo fly around in a circle area while avoiding getting hit and shooting things with 2 different weapons. It can be fun, but just not a lot to it. Fun for a few minutes every now and again like someone said... no chance in hell it will ever grab 94 hours of my life like Beat Hazard has (probably not even 3 hours like Scoregasm has)

To be fair, there are some new modes, like the bombing run one - it's sort of like "king" in Geometry Wars 2, but an interesting variation.

I wish it was as colourful as GW2 though... actually, I just wish they'd release GW2 on Steam.

The studio behind Geometry Wars (Bizarre creations) doesn't even exist anymore. It is unlikely we'll ever see a PC port

Waves is the second best twin stick shooter I've ever played, the first being Super Stardust Delta.

Waves is 100x better than Beat Hazard or Bullet Candy or any other TSS on Steam. That being said, once you've mastered Survival/Rush/Bombing run, you're basically left with just Chase mode to play, which admittedly is quite fun but nearly impossible to get very high scores on. It will take most people quite a while to max the score on Rush/Survival though. This game isn't worth 5 bux, it's worth 10!

I prefere Beat Hazard but well it's still dam awesome and worthy
