There are some really bright areas on dust_2, I suggest you use those ares in the picture area. The really bright areas include cat, and some portions of the sand. I lose my crosshair in those bright areas very often.

also for some reason I can't reproduce my own crosshair, which falls under crosshairstyle 1 and color 3.

Very nice tool for those, who don't know that much about configs and cvars.

I am unable to recreate my crosshair tho, because there is no option to set cl_crosshairstyle "4".

- cl_crosshairstyle "2" is slightly dynamic
- cl_crosshairstyle "3" is very dynamic
- cl_crosshairstyle "4" is completely static

Might want to add that ... +rep anyway!

I only thought it went from 0-3
cl_crosshairstyle 0/1 is default dynamic/static
cl_crosshairstyle 2/3 is classic static/dynamic

I will look into it later. Thanks.

Edit 2:
Yes you are right. cl_crosshairstyle 4 does make it completly static. I did not know about that. I will try to fix it. Thanks!

The generator only draw's a slightly similar looking crosshair for default crosshairs (cl_crosshairstyle 0/1) because they are a bit more complicated to replicate.

The generator focuses on replicating the classic crosshair, since they are the one that can be configured. With default crosshair style you can only change the color and turn on/off dynamic.

I will add some more backgrounds, thanks for the tip.

fantastic. Valve should seriously think of implementing something similar in the 'options' user interface
