I'm sorry for you guys, it's just that companies know that the European market will pay far more then Americans will. It was a bad analogy, but it serves to illustrate a point.

Oh my God, what are they doing? I'm not going to buy something from Steam until they do something about the prices.

This is bad. A bad joke.

Yes Poland is cheap for the moment, but I wouldn't get use to it. I live with a bunch of marketing workers (NOT one myself) and I know that next year Poland is one of those countries being suggested that retail profits could be improved by up to 50% and we all know how companys do that ;-).

Yeah in Empik stores probably, no one who's reasonable is buying games in places like that.

Haha Left 4 Dead 44.99€ (1358,- Skk) ? This seriously think? :-D
http://www.progamingshop.sk/left-4-dead-p-36560.html >> only 41.46€ with box, manual, dvd medium.

Prince for US & NonEU countries is $49.99 (1071,- Skk) ???
This is the end for Steam in Europe.

I cant believe THIS!! O_O Valve can't do this to Europe!! Why? oh god why!
For my country One dollar was like this

1,00 US$ = 5.1771893 Danish kroner. Now they changed it to this!
1,00 € = 7.42771349 Danish kroner.

this maybe seems small in 1 $/€ but in big numbers it's get very wrong!!
if we take 50$ ex.

50,00 US$ = 258.859465 Danish kroner. Now this!
50,00 € = 371.385675 Danish kroner

that is 112.52621DK more than it were before. If Valve can't see the problem, I think they'll loose a lot of customers from Europe!

I'm probably never thinking of buying in steam anymore in € currency.

(50.00 USD = 34.7091 EUR) = The right way! follow this way Valve (Please)

Not to mention it costs the same in my lower VAT country... I know we have an European Union, but we still have individual countries. If you are going to advertise you do regional pricing, at least do it right.

Well, its not probably a goodbye from me but if i can't keep using my virtual card to pay in dollars i will buy far less from steam.

Its also nice how they have shoved us that VAT is included in price when different countries in europe have different vats (some 16%, some 20%) and its not the cheapest one.

And still, the $ keep falling down which makes the games even more overpriced:

Poland doesn't use € either and Valve is forcing us to pay in euros, I demand chosing my own currency to pay with.
