Witch game plays like the figurine game?
Title sais it all.
I'm intrested in trying the warhammer 40K game since a friend showed me how to play, but the price range of $25 for 5 units (that you then have to carfully build and paint) compleatly discurages me form playing. but if any of these games play like the real game, I would like to try that way. Especally since they are on sale. but with a lot of Warhammer games on steam, Witch one do I get? Witch one is the closest to the real experiance? |

$25 for 5 units? I'd like to know where you get your models! I end up paying at least $40 for 5, up to $90 for vehicles.
On topic: I haven't played it, but I have heard that DoW 1 is the closest to the tabletop game. |

Which game, you mean.
There really are no games that play like the tabletop version. I guess Dawn of War if you want something based on the Warhammer 40k universe, but not fantasy. Games Workshop is very reluctant to let anyone copy the tabletop version exactly as it is, and create a PC version of the game. They are very protective of their game and don't want that part of their business to be hurt in any way. |

The most close ones to the tabletop games are Mark of Chaos, and Dark Omen for Fantasy Battle. They aren't any really similiar the tabletop Warhammer 40k.
