Quicksave?

Is there any possiblity to save the current stae of a level?

It is very frustating when you gave to do the whole level again, when you do one mistake.
This would be cool:
Do somesting, Qicksave, trying something, if it was bad quckload and try something different.

this is THE question always comes up and was already discussed deeply several times.
