i dont see why the devs havent spent 1 or 2 weeks on this game and fix the issues. could have been updated long ago. and my god the assault gun is sooo broken. fking nubs hs me from across the map while running/strifing. game is broken. it needs to be fixed. Is Valve the sort of company that just leaves games behind, unfinished and the communities that support those games? my god plz just hand over the game to the community so we can fix it, im sick of waiting for this false idol "update"

DoD:S is a very old game, I believe the devs no longer see any reason to spend their time and knowledge on a game that is already dead (from their point of view). And yes, I agree, the assault class is . Instant headshots from across the map...

I thought Valve was the type of company that listened to their community, listened to what the gamers wanted. Well we want and need dods to be fixed. You devs know all the issues, I hope they can find time and fix the issues finally. The dods community is still very big and the competitive scene is still strong. A new league has opened up for dods called XPL http://www.xpleague.com/index.php

BTW some die hard dods players at fragdods.com are working on fixing dods themselves in a new mod called dod competitive mod. Alot of us competitive/league players feel that Valve has turned their back on this game and it will never be fixed. So check out the videos on the new mod. http://www.fragdods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7993

Well, as we all know l4d 2 is out, so that means they will start working on dods now? right?....probably not. They are just too busy releasing those 1-a-day updates for l4d 2. What about after the updates?....um...start working on new campaigns and eventually l4d 3.

This game is only heading to the point that it should just be freeware, or opensource so the community can try and fix it.
