I suppose we could have spent some money on a pro installer but not a single red cent from Valve or any other organization or person went into this. We made a conscious decision that the majority of our player base could handle it and I think that's been the case. We'll look at a more robust installation procedure next time.

I for one would be glad if CAMP2 is released as zip archive. I simply don't like exe installers but that's just my taste.

???????????????????
Why would you want to uninstall great maps?
What's so difficult about pointing the installer to a directory?
Zip or exe, there is no difference. You still have to extract a compressed file.

But just the option to do it. There are free install wizzards on the net. Cheap as it is.

Some of the available downloads were .zips.

Maybe for CAMP2 we can note in the d/l page if its a .zip or an .exe.

Just join a server playing strand...most of them are on auto-download.

You stated that this map is bug free then something must be wrong with my version of DOD or maybe with computer hardware/software.
I get this kind of errors on all three maps (these are from vigilante):

http://img33.picoodle.com/img/img33/...2m_323239e.png

http://img26.picoodle.com/img/img26/...3m_0ea8ec2.png

Is there a way to fix this?

That texture deal seems to be more common now than ever. Not sure what causes it but some people have had success by reinstalling DoDS.
