Cannot see screens in menu or to enter cd key information??

Uhh more info would be nice. Like you mean under Steam or actually DODs?

Sorry. When I start Counter Strike or Steam I can see buttons but there is no text and I cannot input any information or see any menu information. Thank you for replying. All i see is boxes(no text)

So now that DoD lost it's own page, and got relegated to a subforum in here, does that mean that no further work is being done, no new updates - i.e. the game is "dead" (as some people like to call it even tho there are still players, but you know what I mean)?
Been away for a while and was very surprised to get redirected here when I tried to access the old DoD-site. For how long has is been like this?

Ok so the forums are still up? Don't care much about the dod forum itself, but there were (are?) much useful and intresting info in the military history and tv/movie sub-forums.

ENGINE ERROR

okay, i just set up a new steam account with Half-Life 2 and DoD:S.

i go to start my dod to play and i get this error.

"A Source engine game is required to run mods."

wtf is that?

Ensure that Half-Life 2 is fully installed and updated. I would advise starting up Half-Life 2 just to make sure it works. Update DoD:S, and then restart Steam. DoD:S should work for you then...

Can not see smoke from a smoke grenade from a distance and can not see flames in a fire!!! I use to see them before the big Beta Download, someone please help me with my problems... Thank you for your time!!!
