I guess some where hoping for a better game, it does have dedicated servers, but they don't have stats, so nobody uses them.

So, until they learn to put stats on the dedicated servers, MW3 will remain as bad as MW2.

I got MW3 hoping there would be a good community on the dedicated servers.

If you get banned from one vac protected server you get banned from all vac secured games and servers, not just one game.

That is incorrect

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
VAC is enabled on all multiplayer servers, public and private. Any modifications to the game other than editing config files can result in a VAC ban. Examples of such modifications include but are not limited to console enablers, VAC disablers, and server hosting mods.
A VAC ban in Modern Warfare 2 only affects Modern Warfare 2.

for source and gldsrc engines you are banned from the engine, for newer games the ban is from the game only.

Incorrect

Golden source bans affect all hl1 engine games and mods

Source Bans affect all source HL2 engine game pre L4D

All Game L4D and after are banned per game.

A ban in any other game does not affect games L4D and after except that particular game that you were caught cheating in.

Please don't post false information.

To OP:
It's not a crime to cheat on a game and losing Steam account by cheating sounds stupid. You can lose steam account, if you scam them or something. However, VAC punishes from cheating. "BAN(S) ON RECORD" only means, account got caught by cheating on specific game or game engine.
