Sound problem - looking for suggestions...
Hi all,
Before anyone says anything - I did read the other threads where they suggest changing from 7.1 down to stereo. Here's my problem - I have a Logitech G930. All I see for my speaker setup in my configuration is 7.1 surround - I don't have any way to change it so it seems - I was hoping if anyone else had a set of G930's that they might know how to force it into a non-7.1 audio mode (I have had the same problem with Hydrophobia)... |

So no one knows how to fix the sound? I to have the G35( Wired version of the G930) and no sound, except for the opening movie before you get control ov your avatar. same thing on my speakers. I'll try playing with the speakers set to stereo.

This is the only known fix guys, its a 7.1 issues with the sound.
Stereo mix is basically what you would use if you want to record all sound going through your computer. To check just right click on the speaker icon in your taskbar, click Recording Devices and see if Stereo Mix is there, it will look like this: Go to this link half way down the page. http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Headph...le/td-p/702774 Simply right click on the Stereo Mix, go to Properties and click the Listen Tab. From there is a dropdown menu for "Playback through this device:", in that dropdown menu, select the G35 headset. Now hit OK and go back to the Recording Devices screen, hit Playback and set Windows to use your Speakers rather than the G35, even if the speakers are turned off or unplugged it shouldn't matter as the Stereo Mix will still pick up the sound and play it back through the G35. When you're done you can disable the playback, or you can just Disable the Stereo Mix, and enable it every time you want to play the game. |
