Thief 2 just doesn't even start?

I try and open Thief 2, but the game won't even pop up. Already tried all the DDFIX stuff. Got a Win7 x64 and Nvidia GT540M. Help?

The only thing I know to suggest since both crashed for me as well when I first bought them is to adjust the res in cam.cfg and ddfix.ini

Navigate to the directory where your Steam is, then the folder steamapps, then common, and their folders are under there. Open cam.cfg and ddfix.ini for each game and change the res to something that would have been used back then, 600x400, 800x600, or 1024x768. If that fails to make them run properly there's a whole host of threads under the Thief forum on here about newer versions of ddfix, performance enhancements, all kinds of stuff.

Soomething's bound to help get this kick- game running!
