Hey guys! i just had to make a topic in here with this news.

Thanks everyone for giving your feedback on the game, we are currently fixing a couple of issues spotted since launch and updating our FAQ. We are also finalizing the PC patch with updated controls for players who already purchased the game through Steam or digital PC download. Stay tuned for more info!"

Nice to see this title getting some attention. I was afraid the debacle at launch would have made them just write it off and forget about it.

Is the game worth buying and how does it look with DRM, any change since launch?

The game can be played offline now, which I think was the only change that's happened so far since launch. I can't remember if the above-mentioned patch has hit or not.

I think that patch went into the google chrome version that you have to pay for again.

I bought this game at launch and actually had my money refunded. Absolutely terrible controls, DRM-bs, and a lot of bugs.

BUT, this game has the potential to be great. It's a really interesting new kind of strategy game, it just takes Populous to the next level.
It's pretty boring when you move on to the next level in campaign, it's just the same cinematic rolling every time (at least the two or three campaigns I managed to beat before I quit).

But if they fixed the controls and the bugs I would buy it again, so if anyone could confirm it's been patched?

Just purchased this game and I can't even play it as the uplay server is down

Can't play offline either as it's the first uplay game I have used, not happy at all

The patched version is very buggy.
The player has to hard reboot to exit the game every time they quit playing. That's how terrible the patched version really is.
