a question about the new sherlock holmes game coming out

Am i correct in thinking this game is going to be set in 1898 when i think one of the previous games was set 1899. I just wish they set it later to make it seem even slightly more plausible sherlock holmes could be the enemy. When you already know things go back to normal for a later story the mystery is gone. Any thoughts on this yourselves.
