Help me ban a scammer/hacker from steam!
Hello everyone. So yesterday I got contacted by an imposter, impersonating one of my friends. He send me a link which I foolishly clicked on. It tranferred my steam information to him. Before long, it was announced by my friend who was being impersonated, that scammer was running loss, pretending to be him. By then, it was already to late. The scammer hijacked my account and got away with some (luckely not all) of my Team fortress items.
Eventually I managed to kick him out of my account before he made to much damage. Last edited by eram: 05-27-2012 at 03:53 AM. Reason: removed links |

AFAIK you can't do anything to ban someone that is fully up to VAC and whatever company runs said game.
Its your word versus his...you could have traded the hats and then made this thread. Any evidence will be biased. |

What does this have to do with VAC (Valve Anti Cheat)?
Read the sticky and the forum rules. |

This is not VAC related.
Contact Steam Support if your account was hijacked. |
