Is it worth it?

Looking at this game, it seems no different to free online games such as BATracer (which I have a $10 lifetime premium membership of anyway).

Why would I actually buy it?

Grand Prix Manager 2 is better, even though it's very old.

This game isn't terrible, but there's too many options missing. My main gripe would be a lack of overall strategy, you end up just watching the tyre/fuel gauges on your car and telling it to pit, rather than setting it up before the race begins.

I would like to know if it´s actually a big improvement on their Racing Team Manager game, because I gave 30€ for that one and it wasn´t worth even 5€,terrible game.

There is absolutely no reason why you would buy this game.

It's terribad.

There is no point doing any sort of strategy, as one car configuration will work for every single track. Fuel has absolutely no effect on pace. The only in race action you really need to do is look at the weather and change tyre accordingly (heck, i've won races with dry tyres on wet weather so you don't even need to do that). Practice is useless since you get absolutely 0 feedback whatsoever.

R&D looks like an afterthought. There's just this tech tree and you pick your next upgrade and wait for it to happen.

The young driver program might as well not be here.

And finally, the UI is horribad. I had flashbacks from 30 years ago while playing this game. There's absolutely no tooltips anywhere and you have to guess what each icon means. Some parts are a clickfest (replacing worn parts on a car is a chore, advancing through the time, etc.)

Do yourself a favor and don't buy this game.

I'm glad I only paid about $4 for this game. That said, it is a bit fun but really isn't as detailed as I wished. I'm not even a racing fan (at all) but figured it would be a fun thing to try. It's ok, but I'd never pay more than $5 USD for it.
The races aren't as intuitive as they should be. I'd like a little more instruction on what I'm looking at and how to improve. Like, I have all the best race parts money can buy, the most skilled driver out there, hookers, pimped out rides with bling bling, throwing money around left and right, using the right tyres and BAM! 8th place BUT I didn't know I needed to use soft and hard tyres, so I get DQ'd. Reload, try again, same set up, 14th place.
