i don't see how your links prove anything

aside from that, it actually makes sense for a porting house like aspyr to focus on porting black ops as their next call of duty port as it isn't a sequel to anything

Not yet, in any case.

As for Black Ops, it's now official:

I'm assuming Aspyr has been working on this for the last 2 years? We should expect MW2 in 2014?

The email announcement I got today read like they plan to sell the DLC separately. I hope I am wrong about that but it sure looked that way when I read it.

thats ridiculous! i always liked feral interactive more than aspyr anyhow, they are more generous with their offers... and lets not forget superior customer service

its sad how long cod4 kept its 40 dollar price tag on the mac app store, i bought it when there was a 50 percent off sale and that was pushing it for me

i could port black ops myself using wineskin or cider... for half the price of what aspyr will charge for their native port

Unless they plan to reimplement the multiplayer it will be a steamworks game, as the app id's seem to suggest, and thus, the DLC structure will be identical to PC version.

This game is on sale today and I want it bad.

How likely is it that if I buy this game today, I will be able to also play the Mac version when it comes out this fall without having to make a second purchase? Do you think this will eventually become a Steamplay game?

Please respond soon. Time is short for this precious sale! *worried*

Well, it does show up in Steam's registry, so chances are good.
It's not 100% guaranteed though.
Supreme Commander 2 for example uses Steam, but the only way to get the Mac version is, if you buy it from Virtual Programming.
