Just fired up Gold today after not playing it in a while and i forgot just how epic this game is, if you enjoy the single player Total War games you will enjoy this, maybe even more?

I sincerely apologize about the delays in getting both Philip of Macedon and Hegemony Gold onto Steam. I met a couple of the Steam guys at GDC, and they assured me that they were working to ensure that these sorts of delays don't happen again.

As much as I like Steam, I don't mind buying Hegemony Rome from another place and not necessarily Steam.

You only need to apologise if Hegemony Rome turns out crap, i dont mind the having to wait part because Hegemony Gold is superb.

I have been playing this game for a week. It's tough but it' exactly the kind of game I was looking for. I will definitely buy Hegemony Rome when it comes out. I wish somebody would make a great game using China's warring states period. Has anyone done this since Koei's old "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" series? I think I'd rather see a Hegemony China than a Total War China, though my wish is for a buffed up diplomacy model, maybe on par with Civ 5.

A Lord Of The Rings version of this would be amazing. The perfect engine for the epic saga to play out on. Playable from different factions. Where do i pre order ?
