Why is there an official Megan nude skin in Revelations 2012?

Yep, that's a screenshot that's up on the STEAM Store page. Why is that there? Any comment from STEAM/VALVE? Really surprised that this kind of stuff passed especially considering the picture is clearly pointed at the model's nude ♥♥♥.

No that's not the texture and that character isn't nude. She's wearing a thong and her breasts are covered.

i think the real problem here is that megan was clearly based on kristy, one of the female developers. who happens to have the last name weeks. dark arts happens to be a family company. the weeks' family company.

the insinuation being, if my family was making a game and had a character clearly and intentionally "inspired" by my sister, i would not make a detalied(nice freckles)nude skin of her, let alone release it to the public? or if i pretend to not know you are trolling, do you believe they included just that 1 single hidden nude skin for "realism"? peculiar missouri indeed.

I think you've entirely missed the point he's trying to convey. It's not a case of mere nudity.

The character is based off one of the female developers. This game is a family production.

I really put more faith in you to be able to put two and two together and get...unfortunate implications but I'll spell it out for you. Someone on this team modelled a naked version of one of their own family members. I mean, seriously. Do you not see anything wrong with that?

Remember the Hot Coffee code in GTA:SA? Silly mod, a bit of fun, but what a nightmare when it got out. In a post-'that debacle' world, it's irresponsible and could land them and their distributor (steam) in trouble. No one wants that for a crappy nude skin.

It's not about being prude, its about being a dumbass and risking legal reprisals. Also, family company.. creepy.

I'd written out this multi-paragraph response on how it didn't matter much because while San Andreas was rated by the ESRB, Revelations wasn't. Then I realized there was more to it then that and I also saw this on Revelations store page:

This game is not yet rated. Contains: Blood and Gore, Strong Language, Intense Violence

So I guess they kind of BS'd their way with a rating, maybe. I'd be happy to be corrected/told otherwise, but it just kind of looks like that.

Even so, the Witcher has nudity and is on Steam. In theory, if they didn't remove this skin, all they would have to do would be to add a "Strong sexual themes" tag to the store page and they'd be done.... maybe.

..The relative thing, eh, that's not something I'm gonna ponder on. Bit odd though.

Aye, personally I could care less if it was 'Nude Fighter 7: Multiple Dong Triple C**ted Hooker Edition'; just silly to include it without noting it somewhere. Is it really worth risking so you can put naked pictures of your sister in the game?

Sad as it is, people go crazy over that sort of thing. And lets be fair, this title has enough on its plate...

Anyway, there's something I actually spotted earlier. I was browsing their website out of curiosity and saw this.

If you don't want to click it, here's this:

So at the very least, things aren't as creepy as they seemed if this is legit. He's not related and probably created that model as a.. I don't even know what. Prank?
