Multiplayer community

Hey is anybody out there?
I've seen the threads concerning the multiplayer part of the game but i was still wondering does anybody wanna race?
I seem to be waiting completely alone at the lobby ,for what seemed like hours, and nobody joined!

I bought Skydrift about a week after it came out and even back then I sat and waited for hours for people to join a race. For a short time about a month after it came out we had a fairly decent amount of players kicking around, but sadly the devs didn't support the game at all and they dropped the ball big time by not putting any anti cheat protection on the game, which resulted in a huge number of cheaters. Many of the same cheaters who play Blur (which also has no anti-cheat) played Skydrift and ruined the online. Blur is 100% cheaters, and Skydrift WAS about 70% cheaters, although at this point even the cheaters have given up on it, as there's just nobody left who cares about the game anymore.

Personally I think Skydrift is amazing, it's just a shame that the game got dumped on PC with no support from the devs.

My advice: find another game to play, Skydrift is finished. I recommend Trials 2: Second Edition. I've been playing it for over 2 years now, still fun!

I never saw cheaters in the game. Any problem you saw was due the multiplayer desync that the game had. It's really a shame, a little bit more support (at least ONE patch) and more sales to boost the community size and the game would have been awesome.

best idea would be to either use a group or a forum thread and see if anyone wants to play at a time, like one evening or something.
Its what we did when the first game came out. They were pretty small groups, but it was enough for a few decent races.

The multiplayer community is dead.

I have never been in a session with more than one other player.

Last race I had, the fool was all happy gloating when he won, but when it was my turn, he decided to leave the session before I crossed the finish line first.
he also appear to be able to shoot through the walls.

I've got the game on the daily deal, and the game is immensely fun.

However, there was pratically no one online :/

Anyway, feel free to add me on Steam. I spend the majority of time online (one of the advantages of working at home )

P.S. I think this goes without saying, but yes, my user name here is the same as in Steam...

Hm. Makes me wonder if it'd be worth a Skydrift 'Club',.. a thread where you post your interested in the specific game, and post your 'addfriend' name..

What about a steam group? You make a announcement whenever you'd like to play multiplayer?
