Sonic 3&K Seperate?
Since Steam won't sell these two seperate and some things are different, such as music, powers, an item box here or two, etc, is there anyway to actually run these two games so they're not AS one? Like Just Sonic 3 or Sonic and Knuckles?

No, in the Steam version it's just the 2 games together, there's no option to play them separately.

Why would you want to do it anyway? They were always meant to be one game.

I thought the same kind of thing when I first saw it and was like "why did you not just offer 1 side, the other side and then both together" maybe as an optional upgrade or something.
Then I remembered that combined was the genuine "final" version that should have been done in the 1st place so our arguments became more invalid. |

Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles have some different tracks for the same thing (Knuckles' theme, minor boss battles) and S3&K always uses the S&K ones. I much prefer those but I imagine there are people who prefer the S3 ones and would like to play without the S&K music. Also, if you play the games locked on Sonic and Tails don't get to fight Sonic 3's final boss, only Knuckles does.
