Post 1.42 patch is out (download links are on the first page)

After intensive testing of the DEAGLE I decided to increase its damage back to 50 to make it powerful during pistol rounds too. Only this change would have made it much easier to use than ELITEs and FIVESEVEN though, so I buffed them a bit too. Now with this patch everything should feel like it should be.

Changes from 1.41
---------------------------------------
- DEAGLE Damage from 45 to 50 (+Damage)
- DEAGLE WeaponArmorRatio from 1.4 to 1.3 (-Armor penetration)
- ELITE Damage from 35 to 40 (+Damage)
- ELITE WeaponArmorRatio from 1.25 to 1.2 (-Armor penetration)
- FIVESEVEN CycleTime from 0.16 back to default 0.15 (+Firing rate)

How nice of you to agree with a 2 year old post. Anyway, the "autosnipers" aren't overpowered noob weapons in this mod.

As said before, this mod should be called weapon noob mod, because thats all it does. Half of the vid has the player spraying SMGs and getting random headshots and body sprays. HOW can anyone prefer that I simply do not understand. HURR DURR hold m1 and get kill DURR without even using cover.

To things I want to say:
First. Seriously! Learn to play the game! Before saying stuff like that. Running and getting a headshot is skill.

Second. The guy in the video is the 1st place top score on the server, he created the mod, he knows everything about how the weapons work. So he is not some lucky guy running around.

To ActionDragon: My mod will be out this weekend as in beta on FPSBANANA, I hope you will try it out. I think I will make a topic about it here on steam forums, so I can give an description.

This patch includes the changes of the 1.42 patch.

Changes from 1.42
---------------------------------------
- AWP CycleTime from default 1.45 to 1.3 (+Firing rate)
- SCOUT CycleTime from 1.4 back to default 1.25 (+Firing rate)

Some people probably like to quickswitch to pistol and back after every shot with the AWP and SCOUT to increase firing rate. Previously in the mod the weapons were balanced thinking that quickswitching was used all the time. Of course this makes the weapons harder to use. I decided to increase the firing rates of AWP and SCOUT so now quickswitching isn't an absolute requirement to get most out of the weapons.

Vapiant is interested about this mod only because it allowed him to start making a weapon mod of his own.

Thankfully the running P90 sprayers just get their handed to them in this mod.

You know what TimeToIdle does? That is how much delay there is on the point that decides, where the bullet hits. Means while running the bullet hits 'behind' the crosshair or the opposite direction of the direction you are moving your crosshair

That's also a part of the bug that you can hit precise while moving with AWP, I think you know that one.

By the way I'm a Scout and USP guy

I think I once had this 7 burst P90 tactic, which was effective for headshots. But it's made for surprise attacks, around corners.

HAHA right, but it is not the only reason, I also own when playing on your server. It also makes maps more of the original maps more fun to play. The reason why I own is because I'm good at team play, I lead because of assist points xD. I also never lost a real PCW

The 1.43 version of the weapon balance mod seems so good that I released it now as a Full version (no need to get 1.41 + 1.43 patch). I also updated the weapon documentation .rtf file for this Full version.

Since the 1.43 AWP and SCOUT changes the "autosnipers" became a bit too hard to use to be worth their cost so they now got a small buff. Now again I'm really hoping that this mod is finally finished as it has been in development for 2 years already.

Changes
---------------------------------------
- SG550 Damage from 40 to 45 (+Damage)
- G3SG1 Damage from 55 to 60 (+Damage)
- G3SG1 CycleTime from 0.3 to 0.29 (+Firing rate)


Edit: If the mod gets more updates, then I'll update the manual to mention that the wall penetration value of weapons is also body penetration. So for example while the P90 and XM1014 (penetration value 1) are very powerful at close range, you can't shoot through opponents and hit others behind them like you can with the Assault Rifles (penetration value 2).
