Unhappy Runtime Error hl2.exe

Lately i've installed win 7 ( for first time ). Then i've installed steam and CS:S on clean system. But steam was crashing every time i tried to launch CS:S. So i deleted both steam and the game and then reinstalled them, this time steam works fine and CS:S seems to launch too. But when in game i press "Find Servers" the game crashes with message "Application requested to terminate it in unusual way" (Something like that).

I've checked the game cash it's fine. I have latest drivers for my video card wich is Sapphire Radeon HD 3650.

Try adding -autoconfig at the end of the target line and see what happens.

Thank you PLAY_MAKER it worked.
Now i have another problem thou - significant FPS drop. Most interesting on maximum and minimum settings i have ~40 fps, so i think it's my CPU ( Athlon Sempron 3200+ ). It's old processor but on XP it was enought to have around 80 fps. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you remove the -autoconfig after it started up? And you can force another direct-x for your card by doing this.

Ca also try cl_smooth 0 if it is at one 1 now. Cut off HDR setting.
