Is this right for video stress test?

specs:

Q6600 stock
EVGA 9800GTX+ stock
Windows Vista 64 bit
4 gigs of ddr2 ram"

I ran the first test and it gave me 198.7 FPS, with everything maxed out. Anyone with a similar system as mine, can give me a nod on how much fps they get?

How can you say about right when he didn't even say what resolution it is in though. As that has a factor also, would really need more info don't you think?

1400x900 widescreen 16:10.

Although with XP it was around 312.7. Vista 64 bit does make a big difference.

When I turn off aero on vista 64bit, I get 33 fps more on the stress test and about 10 fps more stable, so around 50-60fps in heavy gun fire fights.

This game is more-or-less cpu bound. Just about any contemporary cpu will give you near identical results at all resolutions.

But the video stress test is apples to oranges compare test. Where you may get 500fps in the stress test, the online will show different. Kind of like that useless index score on MS OS's.

I think they realized they hit a wall with the game and just stopped updating it and hoping they can get another one out.

Those good old Q6600's i sure miss mine. They still are a beast and can hit 3.6ghrz and above pretty nicely also.
