Medic Weapon Ideas

PRIMARY
The Shotgun Surgeon
Level 10 Prototype Syringe Gun
Fires 10 syringes per shot
+2.5% damage resistance for each syringe that hits for 5 seconds

Fires once per second.
+10 degrees projectile deviation
Holds 1 shot per clip
-5% movement speed penalty while out

Give up speed for being able to survive damage a bit better. Plus, it fires syringes like a shotgun. You gotta admit that's rad.

The Accidental Acupuncturist
Level 15 Crossbow
On Hit: +10% movement speed on ally
Projectile speed increases up to +100% with Übercharge
+25% weapon switch speed

No healing done on hit target
-75% primary ammo penalty

A new crossbow to mess with.

The Damned Doves
Level 1 Bird-Handling Glove
Can send doves to attack foes!
Doves inflict milk, jarate and bleed on enemies

If a dove dies, you cannot send out another dove until either 30 seconds have passed or you retrieve the Dove's body.

GET IN ZERE, ARCHIMEDES! RIGHT UP IN ZEIR CHEST CAVITY. ATTACK ZEM FROM ZE INSIDE OUT! AHAHAHAHA!

MELEE
The Care Package
Level 10 Bonesaw
Übercharge length is not reduced by Übering multiple team mates at once
-15% Übercharge rate

The Reverse-Blood Transfusion
Level 25 Bonesaw
Damage is equal to healing done in the last 10 seconds
-90% damage penalty

Not sure about the numbers. The DPS, currently, is the same as the syringe guns. Probably needs a reduction in needle numbers or fire rate.

Probably. I mostly gave it the damage resistance as a way of making it interesting, but a DPS reduction would probably be needed to balance it with it's utility.

I want a medi gun that behaves like the old one; you can juggle ubers without it draining quickly. The patch came before airblasts, did it not? I do not get why they would patch it in the first place, but it seems quite counterable with airblasts now.

all the fancy fonts and colors

what about a medi gun that is identical to the vanilla, it just takes longer (how much?) to fill your charge, it lasts 12 seconds (or something) and you CAN juggle ubers without it draining faster? I would use this all the ing time, unless it was an insane amount of time to fill the charge. the obvious draw back is how long it takes to build a charge. quite significant if the other team has a medic as well.

I think it'd work better as a Melee weapon.

Can juggle Übercharge across multiple team mates without an Übercharge length penalty
-15% Über charge speed

That way it works with all Mediguns.
