NONE of the Sega Classics have ONLINE CO-OP

Every couple of weeks someone ends up starting a thread asking whether one game or another has online co-op, so I thought I'd toss up a thread title that answered the question.

Which sucks, because that would be a huge selling point. I'm pretty sure a lot more people would buy them if they did feature online cop-op.

I wonder if they would. I'm kind of a nostalgic sucker, so I've purchased every classics pack (on sale). The only games I'm missing at this point are the TJ&E titles. But since half of the games in the pack are single player, they are still worth picking up.

Plus, it's not like we used co-op back in the day (although I still remember the original Genesis advertising a modem for just that purpose).

Mind you, I'd like there to be a co-op feature...I just wonder if the lack of one actually loses a significant number of purchases given how often the packs go on sale for dirt cheap.

Emulation

The emulation of the game is supposedly based off of Sega Fusion by Steve Snake. The original emulator supported this but Sega tapped into that to create emulation for these games on the PC.

Titles like Streets of Rage and Golden Axe and fighting games in general are affected big time imo. The main draw of those types of games is to play with friends.

Since I never played any of these games online, I don't feel I'm missing something I once had...but it was much easier to have friends over to play video games when I was 14 years old, so I also see why online play would be handy now.
