Unhappy SPUF 6v9 demos help

I know that this is highly unlikely but does anyone have video's of this spuf69 match? Especially of gravelpit. I was in the match and the demos don't work due to tf2 updates. I know that nobody probably has them but I figured I'd ask.

The Halloween update made old demos unplayable. It is still possible to play back old demos, but you have to jump through quite a few hoops to do so.

After every "update" (the last one was the Halloween Update) demos that were made before that were broken. Everyone is encouraged to record their demos and do all their demo editing before an update goes live.

Happens with every update.

Thanks for the help. I'll try it. If it works that will be a lifesaver. Mmmm lifesavers.

Actually, Valve had been getting pretty good about not breaking demo footage with updates. Valve had released a handful of updates prior to the Halloween update that still allowed the playing of old demos. I guess it's because all of those updates were relatively minor; with the Halloween update they added code that changes the game based on the date and as such the engine was probably changed to the point where old demos became incompatible.

Do they still make Lifesavers? I haven't seen one in years, they were yummy.

And yeah, you're going to have to download a roll-back set of files, and maybe someday Valve will finally come out with their new demo system that supposedly wont break every major update.

Yeah they do still make lifesavers. Getting the demo's to work was not actually that hard. On valve making the non-breaking demo format. Maybe when they show a trailer for episode 3.
